2023 DGIC-PL R.I.P Awards!

Danny Adda - "Speedy"

You're a speedy sonuvabitch whether we need it or not! You'd even let us watch you fix it over your (virtual) shoulder. It has been great having you on this business.

TJ Baldassare - Cutting the BS

Football seemed both perfect and awful as a metaphor. It fits since they tuse QB on new business, and while you do that well (whether asked to or not sometimes) there's still your day job! You Block, Tackle, defend, and get a huddle together, you do it all for each one of us and play the much-needed mediator.

Gen Chorn - "No Scrums"

This is perfect for you Gen, since it feels like you're always pushing through/over/around a Rugby scrum. Yet somehow you end up on the other side, maybe a litlle bruised. But you got it done well and want to go back in to do it again!

Amber Davis - "Up Your Sleeve"

You just kept surprising me with your capabilities, and with just what you had done in the past. You & your unique perspective on the team has been incredibly helpful throughout the year. Even though you're dealing with mostly Canada now, I'm so happy you're still around!

​Christine Edinger - The Great Debater

Inmar, Rodney, etc could be great but required you/us to stand up and stand our ground sometimes on recommendations, You always held firm. But the big win was that you got Inmar to pay for those redemptions. Your debate skills are clear and you use them well!

Doug Fischer - "The Coach"

You are great with people, that is always obvious. But the interest you take in teaching and ensuring all get the most out of each experience always went above & beyond. Your coaching across all (including and especially me), helped get us through the awkwardness, I know this is a small consolation but I know things will land soon, and likely for the better. I never could have done any of this without you and I know we'll find an excuse to work together again.

Shane Grajcyzk - "Carry That Weight"

I know you're all over stuff because I always wonder what's happpening with Shane, and the answer is you're always rushing around solving our problems!. But youre doing so much of the heavylifting on DGIC and everything else, so many of us wouldn't have much to do without you!

Caylee Kitterman - "Shoot Your Shot"

I admire how frequently you raise your hand, and how eager you have been to learn. It's important to be the right level of assertive for yourself and I think you are finding that sweet spot. You're a force already so I can't wait to keep watching you crush it even harder!

Andrew Lainsbury - "'Yo Teach!"

I had to pull the academic one for you, because not only are you an actual teacher, but you're also a great teacher. Conversations with you were always impactful and important since you could listen well and process quickly. I just wish we did more with drug (channel) last year!

Ashlie Morris - "Dive Right In"

I know it's in the nature of working events, but I'm still so impressed with how quickly you jumped in & adapted to a whole new business. The events we got to do were fantastic. I wish we could have worked together longer, and that a couple other things changed back, but you & your initiative were truly appreciated throughout by myself & the team. Get back to the fun stuff and crush it as I know you will!

Shannon Paul - "Smooth Sailor"

I could say this for any number of reasons, including your efforts to just keep me personally on an even keel! But working with you is such a pleasure because you want things to go right and put in every effort to cover all bases ahead of time. Whether it's internal or external, I don't think you're capable of half-assing anything!

Matt Rader - "Half-Assed"

Well you spent half the year with us and half as a client. Unlike Shannon you can clearly ONLY half ass 2023. It's the perfect final metaphor :)

Jaci Vossen - "Safe Travels"

​This is truly about your ability to multitask in a relatively calm fashion, and take things at the right pace. But also, you travel. A lot. So it made sense there too! You even 'traveled' to SSX :) Thanks for all Jaci!

Maggie Weber - "Spark Plug"

The spark plug for our whole team! You not only bring that extra life and positive energy to meetings, which is invaluable, but you also know when to get a little hot and stand up for yourself. I don't know much about cars but I know spark plugs are super important. Thank you for everything Maggie - we have all crushed it together.
